Hon. Barr. Jesse Okey-Joe Onuakalusi, popularly known as Hon. Okey-Joe Onuakalusi or HOJ, is a legal practitioner, legislator, and public servant representing Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency II, Lagos State, in the House of Representatives.

His professional foundation in law, justice, advocacy and public responsibility has shaped his approach to leadership. He believes that representation must be more than occupying public office—it must be visible through legislation, courageous advocacy, accountability and practical interventions that improve people’s lives.

A Record of Legislative and Constituency Service

Hon. Okey-Joe’s record includes more than 45 bills and motions and over 200 petitions presented in pursuit of justice, development and the rights of citizens.

His constituency interventions include solar streetlights, electricity and road projects, educational materials, free JAMB forms, medical outreaches, youth and women empowerment initiatives, and advocacy concerning pensions, employment benefits and court judgments.

He has also proposed the establishment of a Federal Institute of Vocational and Entrepreneurship Studies in Okota to expand practical education, enterprise development and employment opportunities.
